I’m pleased that I keep seeing Delicas I haven’t seen before, even pretty close to my house. This one has squarer headlights that make it look a bit less “happy pig”-y, but it still has a lot of character.

at my previous employer we had two of them one for parts dept, one for workshop use
both ran petrol/lpg, done high kms on them
only thing of note that happened to them in my time there was a fuel pump failed on the workshops van

In Aus we get the occasional sighting of Delicas that are quite new indeed
Not as badass perhaps, but I’m just glad they still exist in this bland modern carscape. A reminder that Mitsubishi of the world isn’t all as bleak
as Mitsubishi of America.

Woah. I haven’t seen very many actually new ones. That one has a buck tooth!

Those are so neat! I was looking at maybe importing one, but all the ones popping up at auction are pretty rough.

I’m very fond of them myself.
Didn’t you say the Oregon DMV was refusing to register JDM imports?

Just Kei class cars, full size is fine. I’ve got something on it’s way over now that shouldn’t have any issues, but I would have bought a Cappuccino if they were register-able

I’ve seen a handful over the last 5 years or so. They’re out there!
